Everyone has heard of yoga. Most people have seen some sort of yoga, some people have tried it but few people have given it the consistent effort to really reap the bountiful benefits offered by yoga. Once I realized that yoga utilizes the human body in conjunction with the space surrounding the body and weight of the gravity I began to see improvement in my body and began to love it. One of the most essential elements of yoga is the aspect of breath. Breathing into the muscles ignites blood flow. I found that as I breathed into the movements my body expanded and grew. I was able to expand within my body and into the space around me strengthening and stabilizing my muscles. As I utilized breath I found that I was able to hold the stretches for a longer period of time. With each pose my body grew stronger. I have been a student of yoga since the end of October 2011 and I have to say the best yoga classes I have attended are with Pinki. Her extensive background in several different yoga traditions, make her yoga classes very challenging, invigorating and inspiring.

Pinki infuses the joy of yoga, with the discipline of it, creating classes that teach the body/mind connection. I am always amazed at how good I feel after Pinki’s yoga class. My body alignment is more elongated and my posture is definitely better. I am more relaxed and mentally centered and I have an overall feeling of well-being. The physical results I’ve gotten from studying yoga with Pinki are proof of her knowledge and commitment as a teacher. I have more flexibility, more strength, better balance and more body awareness than ever before. And I have less back pain. I would recommend her yoga classes to anyone interested in developing a yoga practice to improve their body composition, tone their muscles, as well as gaining the tools for having greater health. Pinki teaches a thorough, graceful, powerful class, with sensitivity, warmth and style. Her yoga classes have given me lasting results! She’s a goldmine at the Maa Shakti Yoga Meditation Center and the best yoga teacher!

I Really enjoyed the class. I normally study Ashtanga Yoga and Pinki Provides a unique class with a mixture of ashtanga and Hatha Yoga..I found the class to be challanging and fun. I particularly need the way the pinki adjust you and pushes you that little bit further.

What a beautifull way to start the day. The class was lovely & relaxing and it did not matter what level you are as you feel supportive. Coming from the UK (although Australian) I feel like I have now landed in india.

This class was enjoyable. Pinki is able to assertain the extent to which she can push you. It was challenging but I found I could left with most of the postures and keep up. Pinki”s support is important and she knows when to help. She is very attentive and intimidating in any way. For me the relaxation at the end is important and I loved the breif “massage” delivered individually to ensure proper relaxation posture. I will come again and will recommend.

I have been doing yoga in korea since february but this is the first time i have enjoyed yoga in english. pinki is a phenomenal teacher who is very helpful, friendly & motivating. her class was the best i ever had & i really ejoyed the dynamic mix of challenging yet refreshing poses. i highly recommend her to anyone.
